The GSA is sad to announce the death of Stuart Dickson on Friday 16th January 2026.
Stuart had a professional background in psychiatric nursing and was a GSA member from it's inception in 1996. He became a GSA Senior Tutor in 2000.
Stuart was elected as a Director on the GSA Board in 2007. During his time as Director, he served as Chair of the Board and, as part of this role, he organised several annual GSA Conferences and was part of the team that developed the current GSA Website as well as many other duties.
Stuart was a much respected advocate of the GSA and will be sorely missed by his family, friends, collegues and those who trained with him.
Stuarts funeral will take place on 13th February 2026 at 12 noon at Borders Crematorium.
